THANKSGIVING is an optional break. Oakdale will not hold regular classes Wednesday afternoon through Friday of Thanksgiving week. There is a $75 fee for staying on campus during this optional break.

SCHOOL BREAKS: Dorms are closed during Christmas break, Spring Break, and before and after summer school sessions. Parents must make arrangements for student to be off campus during these breaks.

TRAVEL DAYS: Travel itineraries are due two weeks in advance in order to request transportation to the airport. Please be mindful when scheduling flights the Lexington airport is two hours away from Oakdale. Early morning and late night flights need to be approved in advance by the Dean of Students. The airport transportation fee is $15 for trips to Lexington during the allotted travel times (see Travel Days for more information). The transportation fee for arrangements outside of the scheduled travel times is is a minimum of $75.
