A New Classroom and Gymnasium Building:  Dedication  on October 7

October 7, 2005, was the culmination of nearly four years of preparation, planning, and construction. On that Friday at 2:00 PM, Oakdale Christian Academy held a dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony for its new classroom and gymnasium building. In the four years since Oakdale lost the use of Rhodes Hall, Oakdale supporters have given, volunteer workers have sacrificed their time, and many have prayed for the successful completion of this new facility. These efforts and prayers have been honored and answered with the complete funding of this building. This building was designed for long-lasting service and energy efficiency. Investments in high-grade materials and superior construction standards will pay off for years to come. Total expenses, plus the value of the donated labor, make this a million dollar building. That we are able to construct this 12,000 square foot building at such a high level of quality is a testament to the ingenuity of our architect and the excellent labor costs that Oakdale was able to get.
