Maybe the hometown peer group is not positive. Perhaps there is a family situation that requires a temporary "home away from home." Oakdale students develop their talents in many areas due to the small size of the campus family. Living away from home gives a wonderful opportunity to learn personal responsibility, social skills, and to grow as young Christians.
